In the early 1960s a group of musical enthusiasts in Ceoltoiri Craobh an Cheitinigh got together to perform classical music. From this the Dublin Symphony Orchestra was established in 1967. The DSO is celebrating its 50th Anniversary in the 2017/2018 academic year.
